Recently bought 3 pens: copper bolt action, click, and edc pocket pro. You can tell a lot of time and energy went into designing and building these pens. Study, write well, no tip wobbles, and they rest in the hand perfectly.

Highly recommend all, but the pocket pro is clutch as the edc. Barely even know you’re carrying it in the pocket.

I really loved the feel and quality at first. Unfortunately, not buttery smooth. I tried a little lube with screw adjustment (recommended via help email). Didn't work. Anytime I would deploy the blade. It would stick around the 70-80 % open area. Would have to manually open to lock or use momentum to fully open. Watching videos online seemed effortless. Maybe item had defective bearings. I ended up returning the product because trying to exchange was confusing. Still willing to try again only if it works as advertised.

The slim bolt is a well designed, and to me, aesthetically pleasing pen. The ability to change ink cartridges of different styles and lengths without any real tip wiggle is amazing. If I were to complain (and I won't), the only possible issue is that it is not as fidgety as other bolt style pens. As a matter of fact, it"s quite silent and smooth, with a very short action for the bolt. Unless that's the only reason you want to buy a bolt action pen, it shouldn't bother you. Absolutely fantastic pen, that is worth the money for a high quality pen with a lifetime warranty.

I ordered the Bolt action pen in brass. Shipping was pretty fast and the pen feels great in hand. I’m in Law Enforcement and the pen got knocked off a desk and hit a tile floor. The opening where the pen ball goes in/out bent. I emailed customer service and they were beyond nice and explained how brass was a softer metal and would be prone to things like that. (Duh… I should have thought about that). But anyway, they were more than willing to help me fix the problem. I currently have the Slim pen in the mail in titanium and I’m sure it will be great.
